La Maudite is set in the 1920s. The cases of missing people have increased significantly causing the public to panic. La Maudite, the new and popular jazz club, is known for its alluring singer, Ivette. Due to the quick popularity, Lettie, a frantic novice journalist is sent to interview her and the two quickly become friends. During their time together, Lettie not only discovers Ivette to be the cause of the missing people but discovers her real identity.
